Develop strong working relationships with the senior management groups of each client in order to help them implement their strategies and goals; participate in key client meetings. Be a true partner to line managers to ensure success of the business. Be a strong and effective advocate for individuals. Heavy emphasis on coaching managers and on employee relations. Change-management experience is essential. Work collaboratively with training and development, compensation and benefits, and staffing colleagues to ensure highest-quality delivery of Talent Management and HR services. Performance Management: enable managers to use the full range of performance management tools to achieve high performance. Mobilize Sales Force and Sales management to address key issues identified and maintain performance translated to meeting sales targets. Metrics & Analytics: Use technology and data; know and execute the HR processes, technologies and tools and use metrics to analyze people issues and trends.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; Minimum 10 years of previous HR generalist experience. Organizational effectiveness/development, HR management, business and financial acumen; Thorough understanding of HR technical knowledge, laws, regulations and policies; Strategic thinking - ability to develop and successfully execute strategy and implementation; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team building skills, and demonstrated ability to influence; proven ability to achieve high impact results.

Our client, a leading producer of coated papers for the publishing industry, is currently seeking a progressive, strategic HR Leader at one their main manufacturing sites in Maine.

This exciting leadership opportunity offers the successful candidate an extremely dynamic working environment and the ability to be a part of a relatively new company with significant market presence and future growth opportunities.

Job Objectives
This is the lead field operations HR role for the client's operation in Maine, union-free, continuous operation manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for translating business & operations strategy into HR strategy and providing leadership in execution of initiatives to achieve business & operations objectives.

The successful candidate must have a strong customer focus, exceptional collaborative skills, and be able to lead in a very dynamic team-based culture & environment. This is a key role in the organization's leadership team, requiring an individual who can quickly get up to speed on very complex work systems, assimilate to the existing culture while facilitating broad, sustainable change, and manage multiple priorities.

Experience required: Minimum ten years in HR Management in an industrial or manufacturing setting; experience in leading other HR professionals; demonstrated success in progressive HR organization leading change and partnering with business leaders. Broader experience in organizational effectiveness, leadership in work systems design and implementation is extremely valuable.

We have an immediate opening for an HR Manager to assume full HR responsibilities for a site P&L business with a growing medical product/life sciences company headquartered just outside of Boston.

This HR position offers the autonomy and leadership role of reporting to a General Manager and being an active member of the senior business team. At the same time, the HR Manager will have access to an array of centralized resources and HR colleagues, as part of a larger, world-class HR department.

The appeal of this position is also the challenge: the desired candidate must be skilled at delivering both immediate and long range solutions which have a positive impact on the business. Senior HR Business Partner, Sales

Compensation Manager/Director Opportunities

We are working with several clients in the Boston area on exciting Compensation Management roles, within growth industries including biotech, life sciences, financial services, and technology.    

The range of responsibilities and roles includes designing and managing base and variable pay programs, managing regular cyclical programs and providing training and communications programs to internal clients, managing staff, and performing as an internal consultant and primary resource for all employee and executive compensation programs.

Some of these roles require experience with incentive and sales compensation (in financial services industry), knowledge of executive compensation and other long term incentives, strong project management and analytical skills, and excellent communication ability.

The level of compensation experience required for these manager and director positions ranges from 8 to 15 years of progressive responsibility in leadership positions, including 5 years management experience, demonstrated ability to manage priorities and deliverables, manage employee and senior management communications and collaborate with HRIS and other colleagues to ensure effective design and accuracy of compensation tools and processes.  These opportunities require strong ability to perform in-depth analysis and performance assessment of processes to ensure competitiveness and compliance; Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree and or certification is preferred. 

Compensation for these management positions is between $90,000-$140,000

 

Compensation Analyst/Compensation Consultant

We have several clients in growth industries with exciting learning opportunities to be part of their HR Team.  The level of experience required for the Compensation Analyst and Compensation Consultant roles is 3-6 years progressively responsible experience with base and variable pay programs, strong ability to plan, design and analyze pay structures and programs, assist with employee communications, and manage projects related to surveys and data gathering, excellent analytical and financial modeling skills in Excel and or Access; self initiative and strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and ability to understand the “art” of compensation.  Experience in sales incentive and or executive compensation is highly desirable.

Other qualifications include; Bachelors degree, Masters degree or certification is a plus.  

Compensation for these positions is between $70,000- $90,000.

Senior Organizational Effectiveness Consultant

Fortune 100 Company has an immediate and career enhancing opportunity in their corporate L & OD team. Reporting to the Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Management, the Senior OE Consultant will apply OE / OD principles, methods and tools to provide a broad range of customized business solutions designed to support business, team and leadership strategies, ultimately enhancing organization effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct organizational diagnoses using defined methodologies to identify critical issues and root causes, provide an objective, data-driven perspective on relevant organizational and HR issues.
  • Implement appropriate interventions to address organizational findings, and measure results.
  • Partner with various stakeholder groups to increase the capability and capacity of professionals in the Company to implement OE / OD solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership, consulting and implementation support, and training. This position requires up to 25% travel mainly in the US.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related MBA.
  • 8+ years' experience in OD consulting, and/or change management experience working in a Fortune 500 company or major consulting firm.
  • Deep understanding of and practical experience in applied OD and change management principles, methods and tools.
  • Deep understanding of and practical experience in applied OD and systems design theory.
  • Significant experience using action research methodology or related consulting methodology to diagnose organizational issues with internal clients and implement creative, value added solutions.
  • Knowledge/certification in MBTI, FIRO-B, and/or equivalent assessment processes.
  • Familiar with competency model development and application.
  • Growing an organization's talent pipeline, focusing on developing and retaining future leaders while providing tools and resources for the organization's entire population.
  • Proven and successful track record of implementing best practices in OE / OD and Change Leadership.
  • Professional communication style and effective presentation skills applied to varying audiences; ability to quickly and concisely get points across.
  • Ability to skillfully influence peers, colleagues and executives to promote ideas while building relationships.
  • Ability to measure the results of OD / OE and Talent interventions; articulately conveys value to internal clients.

Desirable Skill and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development.
  • Experience contributing to the development and implementation of strategic talent management practices.

Compensation includes base salary ranging from $130-145k (DOE) plus annual bonus and equity. Full relocation is available for this position.

Director: Organizational Effectiveness
This role is responsible for overseeing organizational effectiveness programs and initiatives for a Fortune 500 Product Company headquartered in the Boston area. Key responsibilities include organizational diagnosis, change management, measurement and evaluation, performance management, succession planning, and organizational consulting.

These high impact initiatives will take place in the context of a progressive global learning organization, and an overall business environment of positive growth and change. Initiatives and interventions will be deployed through a large distributed global HR team. The specific projects and scope of work will be determined by immediate business needs and long range business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a depth of knowledge and experience in OE and L&D, preferably through significant work done in large global companies with progressive HR practices. He/she will also be highly skilled in getting results through collaboration and influence, and working effectively through complex internal and external client/partner relationships.

The desired candidate will have functional knowledge and experience in the areas of workforce planning, leadership development, performance systems and processes, organizational development and design, succession and talent management, financial and performance analysis and strategic/systemic thinking.

Requirements include a minimum of 15 years experience in HR business settings with functional skills as above, significant professional experience in organizational consulting and learning, and a proven track record of results.

Salary: Package to 250K. Relocation is available
